Sock matching pairs

Matching and sorting practice hidden inside the laundry pile.

You'll need

  • 6–8 clean socks
  • Laundry basket

How to play

  1. 1Spread the socks out where your child can see them all.
  2. 2Hold up one sock and ask them to find its twin.
  3. 3Talk about colour, size and pattern as you go.
  4. 4Let them drop each matched pair into the basket.
