You'll need

• A few grocery items
• A basket or bag

How to play

1. 1Sit on the floor with the basket between you.
2. 2Hand your child one item and name it slowly: 'big apple'.
3. 3Wait a few seconds — let them try the words before you help.
4. 4Ask where it goes and follow them there, describing the trip.
